What the document holds

InfoLEG text of Decreto 616/2010 (3 May 2010), the full regulation of Migration Law 25.871 (entry, residence categories, documents, impediments, expulsion, procedures). Programme content is art. 23(d) of the Annex: the investor subcategory of temporary residence requires a productive, commercial or service investment of interest to the country of at least ARS 1,500,000, proof of the origin and lawful source of funds entering through authorised banks, a non-binding opinion of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism on the project (nature, legal viability, economic sustainability), and a binding deadline for making the investment set by the Migration Directorate (no number of days given). The rentista (passive income) subcategory sets no amount. Both the ARS 1,500,000 term and the launch event are already in the data; no statistics. Everything else is general migration regulation, out of scope. Rules restated from other sources are now recorded from this document too (decision 8).
