What the document holds

Review of the Migration System final report (Parkinson review, 195 pp.), mostly about the whole migration system. BIIP content: recommendation 8 and pp. 70-71 findings (event already in data); BIIP share of 2021-22 program allocations (28%); ACMID/Census 2016 charts for BIIP primary and secondary applicants: labour force participation (Fig. 21: 58%/72%; Fig. 47: 58%/42%, conflicting), bachelor degree or above (Fig. 22: 42%/42%), employment (Fig. 48: 53%/36%); Treasury FIONA lifetime fiscal impact per BIIP migrant (Fig. 24: -$80k); Investor primary applicant income by age (Fig. 49: ~$55k, ~$40k, ~$40k); BIIP 2021-22 grants by previous visa (Fig. 32 shares and counts; Fig. 42 repeats them). Not extracted because they are not about the programme alone: Fig. 23 lifetime economic contribution for "Distinguished talent and BIIP" combined ($0.6m), Fig. 66 planned 2022-23 places "Other (e.g. BIIP)" 10k, and Figs 16 and 25 (no BIIP values printed). Chart values were assigned to bars by word positions and label colours in the PDF (stated in notes).
