Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria Act, consolidated text on lex.bg (as of DV 55/2026): entry, visas, all residence categories, EU Blue Card, start-up visa, digital nomads, family members, refusal and withdrawal, fines, procedures. Investor content: long-term residence for BGN 600,000 in real estate (art. 24(1) item 19, loan up to 25%) or BGN 250,000 in disadvantaged regions with 5 jobs (item 20); permanent residence for BGN 2 million listed securities, BGN 1 million concessions, BGN 1 million funds (with BGN 5 million / 3 million fund-size floors), BGN 2 million priority project, BGN 6 million unlisted company, certified investment-promotion activity (item 13, no amount), BGN 500,000 plus 10 jobs (item 16), and after 5 years on items 19/20 (item 17); Investment Agency pre-check (art. 25(7)-(10)); 5-year holding for items 6, 8, 16 and no use as loan collateral (art. 25(11)-(12)); withdrawal if the investment is reduced; decision in 2 months (+2); spouses of investor permanent residents exempt from the residence requirement (art. 25(1) item 2). Art. 25a residence for merit or state interest (no amount). No statistics. Six art. 25(1) item 6-8 amounts were already in the data; the other investor amounts and rules now added. Other numbers (general fines, deadlines for other categories) are out of scope. Rules restated from other sources are now recorded from this document too (decision 8).
