What the document holds
Budget 2014 (Economic Action Plan 2014, 11 Feb 2014), 428 pages. Investor content: Chapter 3.1 section "Immigrant Investor Program" (printed p. 81: proposal to end the federal Immigrant Investor and Entrepreneur programs, return applications and refund fees for applicants who applied on or before Budget Day, replace them with an Immigrant Investor Venture Capital Fund pilot; investors pay lower taxes; programme paused since July 2012) and the cost line in Table 3.1.1 (printed p. 82). The closure event was already in the data; this pass adds the budgeted cost (2 million, 2013-14, and total). The rest of the budget (tax, spending, other immigration measures) is out of scope.
