What the document holds

LegCo reply, 16 April 2025, on inward investment and the New CIES: applications since March 2024 (1,092) and in March 2025 (174), net asset assessments approved (99), entry applications (65) by place of domicile, expected investment (more than HK$5.2 billion), no rejections (recorded earlier); the usual approval-in-principle assessment time (around three weeks) and no approvals-in-principle so far now recorded. Existing row o-17157f5c8a (applications_rejected = 0) re-checked: the words "no application has been rejected so far" state the zero unambiguously, so reading implied is correct. Parts (3)-(5) (cross-boundary remittances, anti-money laundering, family-office managers) are narrative with no programme figures; the HK$30 million minimum and 180-day visitor stay are programme rules.

About the document

What it covers New CIES applications in March 2025 and since launch; entry applications received by ImmD in March 2025 by country.

Notes The question asked for a breakdown by 'place of domicile'; the reply's table lists countries without a heading saying whether these are nationality or domicile.
