Kazakh Government Rules on entry and stay of immigrants and on migration control (Resolution No. 148 of 21 Jan 2012, consolidated to 25 Aug 2025, with amendment footnotes): visa-free stays, registration, temporary residence permits by purpose (workers, AIFC staff, AIFC investment residents, students, family reunification, medical, business immigrants, missionaries, trafficking victims), visa issuance by internal affairs bodies (business visas up to 30 days, investor visas up to 90 days, AIFC investment-resident investor visas up to five years), EAEU workers, exit and migration control. This pass added 4 rules (AIFC investment residents' residence permit one year renewable to five years; investor visa up to five years; general investor visa up to 90 days as a context row) and 1 event (para 19-1 added by Resolution No. 140 of 17 Mar 2021). Out of scope and not recorded: other immigrant categories, business immigrants (they must run a business; decision 15), registration and migration-control rules.
