Ministry of Justice press release (1 May 2023): real-estate investment immigration renamed tourism and resort facility investment immigration; threshold raised to KRW 1bn; designated areas (Jeju, Incheon, Busan, Pyeongchang, Yeosu) that were to lapse on 30 Apr / 19 May 2023 extended by 3 years; 11th investment immigration councils 19-28 Apr 2023; scheme since Feb 2010 (F-2, F-5 after 5 years); plan to tighten investor permanent residence. No statistics. Threshold, launch and change events were already recorded; holding period and two events added. Rules restated from other sources are now recorded from this document too (decision 8).
