Consolidated text of the 2002 Immigration Law on likumi.lv; only the investor provisions are in scope (art. 23(1) points 28-31, art. 23 parts on family, tax tests, renewal and payments, related rules in art. 9, 34, 35, transitional provisions); the rest is general immigration law. Version from 1 Jul 2016: business EUR 50,000/100,000 + EUR 10,000, max 10 foreigners, tax tests EUR 40,000/100,000 (monthly EUR 3,300/8,300 in first year), regional property rule, EUR 5,000 renewal payment (art. 23(7.3)), Cabinet power to suspend investor permits by nationality (art. 23(9)-(10), 34(6)), annulment for tax debts over EUR 150 (art. 35(1) p. 30), transitional points 26-34.
