Sarawak MM2H application guide (amended 31 July 2025, 35 pages): eligibility (age 30+, countries with diplomatic relations except Israel and North Korea), financial proof (RM500,000 fixed deposit plus RM10,000/15,000 monthly pension or offshore income, or RM100,000/200,000 savings), required documents, security/personal bond rates by nationality, conditions (RM250,000 minimum FD balance, 30 days a year), work rules (part-time up to 20 hours a week; minority JV share up to 49% of RM250,000 paid-up capital), RM5,000 processing fee, 50% FD withdrawal after one year, optional house purchase minimums, 5+5-year pass and renewal, panel banks and clinics; plus a general note on Sarawak (area, population) out of scope. This pass added 18 rules: processing fee, security bond rates by nationality (8), RM15,000 income with dependant, savings alternatives (2), 50% FD withdrawal, optional house purchase minimums (2), child age limit, passport validity, good-conduct letter age, renewal filing deadline. Not recorded as out of scope: part-time work-hour limit and the joint-venture paid-up capital (business conditions, not the residence route), medical insurance for under-60s (no amount).
