Executive Decree 199 of 2021 (Gaceta Oficial 29290-A, 20 May 2021; scanned, read by OCR): rewrites arts. 100, 101, 103, 104, 180, 181, 183, 184 and adds art. 184-A of Decree 320 of 2008 on the forestry investor categories: temporary permit B/.80,000 (up to two foreigners per company, each investing that amount), permanent permit B/.100,000, direct permanent residence at B/.350,000, documents required, five-year holding period with annual proof; in force on promulgation. Art. 183 restates the amounts (the OCR text reads 'doscientos cien mil balboas (B/.100,000,00)', a typo in the decree; digits agree with art. 180). Art. 10 names 'Decreto Ejecutivo No.416 de 13 de junio de 2012' as the decree amended, contradicting the title (Decree 320 of 2008). This pass added: the annual-proof rule (1 rule) and the removal of the two-per-company cap for the permanent permit (1 event). Earlier passes had the amounts, the two-per-company cap for the temporary permit, the holding period and the price-change event.
