What the document holds
AIMA annual migration and asylum report 2023 (43 pp.): general residence-permit statistics (new permits by reason, age, district, CPLP, nationality annex, stock of foreign residents 1980-2023), contact centre, returns, asylum. ARI content is one page (PDF p. 15, printed p. 11): 2 901 ARI permits granted in 2023, 1 554 family-reunification permits, and a labelled chart of the five main nationalities (USA 567, China 306, UK 234, Brazil 219, India 199). All of these were already in the data; whole report also OCR-checked for other investment mentions (none). Everything else is general immigration, out of scope.

About the document
What it covers ARI permits granted in 2023 (SEF Jan-Sep plus AIMA Oct-Dec), family permits, top-5 nationalities (chart).
Notes First annual report of AIMA. An errata (https://aima.gov.pt/documents/errata-rma-2023.pdf) corrects other figures but not the ARI ones. The 2023 ARI total printed here (2 901) is probably a digit transposition: see observation notes.
