What the document holds

Whole sitting of 22 Nov 2010 (written answers, Official Report vol. 87) as returned by the SPRS API; only answer 6, 'Global Investor Programme' (cols 1605-1607), concerns the programme, the rest (MoneySENSE, spa closures, littering, sexuality education, etc.) is unrelated. The GIP answer: S$2.5m minimum from 1 Jan 2011; close to 1,000 investors over the past three years who invested over $1.5 billion; close to 100 invested directly in businesses, creating some 1,500 jobs; investors 'predominantly from North-East Asia and South-East Asia' (words only, no numbers); footnote comparing other countries' investor-PR minima (Australia AUD 1.5m/S$1.9m, Canada CAD 0.8m/S$1.1m, US USD 1m/S$1.3m, UK GBP 1m/S$2.07m). The four statistics were already recorded; this pass adds the S$2.5m minimum as a term from this source. The foreign comparators are about other countries' programmes as cited by Singapore's minister and are not recorded (the dataset holds those programmes' terms from their own sources).
