What the document holds

BOI LTR visa brochure 2025 (2 pp.): launch date (1 Sep 2022), benefits (10-year renewable visa, re-entry, 1-year reporting, fast track, work permit, 17% tax for skilled professionals, overseas income exemption), four categories with 2025 criteria updates (Highly Skilled Professionals and industries, Work-from-Thailand, Wealthy Global Citizens, Wealthy Pensioners), dependants, insurance requirements, application steps (20 working days; visa within 60 days; 50,000 Baht fee), work permits, TIESC location and contacts. No statistics. Taken: all amounts and periods for the investor-linked categories (Wealthy Global Citizens; the Wealthy Pensioners investment option recorded with its own route), insurance, fees, validity, processing time and the 2025 rule change (the launch event was already in the data). Not taken (out of scope): income and employer thresholds of the Highly Skilled and Work-from-Thailand categories (not investment routes), the 17% tax rate. Rules restated from other sources are now recorded from this document too (decision 8).
