What the document holds
Amendment history of the Hong Kong and Macao Relations Act: enacted 2 Apr 1997 (Hong Kong parts in force 1 Jul 1997, Macao parts 20 Dec 1999), amendments of 1998, 2003, 2006, 2015 (arts. 14, 14-1, 14-2, 47-1; in force 3 Jul 2015), 2017 (art. 29-1) and 2022 (arts. 13 and 23), plus transfers of agency responsibilities. The 1997 Hong Kong start was already recorded. This pass added 1 event (Macao parts in force 1999-12-20). The other amendments do not touch the residence article (art. 12) and are not recorded as events; the 2015 date is used as valid_from of the art. 14-2 rule.
