About the document
What it covers Original Act as published: s. 65(1) an investor investing at least USD 250,000 and employing a minimum number of persons is entitled to a self employment permit or resident permit.
Notes Scanned publication document with OCR. Assented 12 May 2006; the bracketed date 19 May 2006 is printed under the long title; s. 1 says it comes into force on a date appointed by statutory instrument (not read). The OCR reads the employment minimum as two hundred persons; a later amendment (reported in secondary material as ten persons) was not read. Whether the 2006 Act is still in force (it may have been replaced by later investment legislation) was not checked.
