What the document holds
CMA press release (6 Jun 2023): cartel informant reward cap raised from £100,000 to £250,000; rewards discretionary, paid if information is significant and leads to enforcement; reward separate from leniency, normally not for leniency applicants unless their role was peripheral. Also general cartel sanctions (fines up to 10% of turnover, up to 5 years' prison, up to 15 years' director disqualification), which are not about the reward programme. The two cap rules and the rule-change event were already recorded; no statistics on rewards paid. Rules restated from other sources are now recorded from this document too (decision 8).
