What the document holds

Programme content: reporting of corruption (arts. 25-31), protection of reporters (arts. 32-35), awards and rewards (art. 36: reward on application when a report recovers public revenue; must be paid; two-year filing deadline; officials reporting on their own duties may get less or none), Reward Deliberation Committee (art. 37), decision within 90 days (art. 38, added as a proposed rule), relation to other rewards (art. 39), penalties for false reports and fines up to KRW 10 million for retaliation (arts. 49, 53; penalties, no reward rule type). Already in the data: the launch event, 'discretionary' = 0 and the two-year filing deadline. Added: anonymous filing = 0 (signed reports required). Rest of the Act (commission set-up, policy, audit requests by citizens, employment limits for dismissed officials) is out of scope.
