Nauruan Community Ordinance Amendment Act 1997 (No. 11 of 1997, 6 scanned pages, read by OCR): creates the 'Citizen Investor' category (s. 5(6)-(9)): applicant aged at least 20, of good character and health, investment 'of such form and in such amount as determined by Cabinet' (no amount printed), personal examination by a five-member Nauru Citizen Investment Board (quorum three) that recommends to Cabinet; spouse and minor children eligible; passport on application. Also makes earlier members of the Nauruan Community citizens and covers citizenship for foreign wives of Nauruans (not programme). Clerk's and Speaker's certificates dated 13 June 1997. Creation event already recorded; age and board size added as rules.
