What the document holds

CFTC press release 7159-15 (23 Apr 2015): Deutsche Bank to pay an $800 million civil penalty for LIBOR and Euribor manipulation, with related penalties by DOJ ($775 million), the UK FCA (GBP 226.8 million) and NYDFS ($600 million), and a list of earlier CFTC benchmark penalties against other banks (total over $4.1 billion). It says nothing about whistleblowers or awards; the settlement is in the data as a case and an event because it is reported elsewhere to underlie the 2021 CFTC award. The other banks' penalties and the related-agency penalties are out of scope (no whistleblower link in this document).
