What the document holds
Three annual letters (15 Apr 2019, 11 May 2020, 15 Apr 2021; 3 pp., obtained under FOIL) from the New York AG's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit to the legislature under State Finance Law 190-b: MFCU recoveries under the New York False Claims Act for calendar years 2018, 2019 and 2020, and for each year the amount kept by the state Medicaid programme rather than sent to the federal government because the state act qualifies under section 1909 of the Social Security Act (60% instead of 50% share). The three recovery totals were already recorded; added the three state-incentive amounts under a proposed indicator. The letters do not split recoveries by qui tam or not, and give no relator shares. Note: the PDF page order is 2018, 2019, 2020 letters while the FOIL Bates numbers run 000001, 000003, 000002; the existing rows cite the Bates number as the page.
